I can see if she was drunk or on drugs but this kind of thing happens every day and the people get no money....Look at that white woman (school teacher) who ran down those black kids and left the sence. She is free! at least brandy stayed at the crime they are sueing because they can get money....!!!!Because she is rich. Please and with the racism and grow up!!!!

Wow, I would have never expected the name calling and things of that nature to be posted on this site, but what I can tell from the comments made here, most of you posting this ignorant comments are actually the ni**ers simply by your contemptibility and ignorance. As far as the "accident", yes, Brandy may need to give the family money, but $50M. Come on, are you serious...I mean, my condolences to the family and all, but how the hell do you expect to get filthy rich off of this. You people need to get real; the family should get double what the deceases' life insurance policy was. That would be fair, but had they been civil I'm sure Brandy would have done anything she could, within reason, to help that family out...Who say the accident? Not one of the family members, Brandy wasn't drunk and her mind was not altered do to some type of drug. So, how could you say she was driving recklessly...you can't. So, why so much scrutiny, do we not realize that this could have also been the decease's fault or is the fact that she is Brandy, rich, African American and what some of you call "an ugly ni**er!" reason enough. It seems as if ignorance is a disease on this site especially! I am an African American male, but you're the ignorant somebody!

You will get through this. It is unfortunate that this has happened. My condolences to the family of the deceased. The same God that has brought you this far will see you through. I know it is hard to see through the tears Brandy, but God has has not forsaken you. Hold your head up lady. I will keep you and your family on my prayers.

306. The case was thrown out.....parents are not entitled to sue under CA law. Only her husband is....

Also you act like Brandy purposely hit this woman, hit the gas to go faster to cause the accident... it was just that..."an accident" She hit the woman's CAR and so did two other cars...the deceased woman's car hit a concrete divider and that is probably what killed the woman. The impact with the concrete divider.
