65. Wow! I'm suprised to see so much steam and hatred directed at one person. I hope everything works out for all parties involved. The thing that strikes me about this conversation and racial rhetoric that abounds with each post. For those expression positive thoughts and condolences, you are doing respect to the memory of the victim. For those demanding justice, you mock it with your comments and behavior. I pray that Brandy is held accountable and that there is some mercy shown. I also hope that she is responsible in dealing with the grieving family. Remember, there is a child involved here and I would hope that she moves to create a trust for the child and do whatever she can to make amend. Justice AND peace - prayerfully respect and fairness will prevail in this tragic situation.

71. now, didnt I say the victims family would sue? and they have the right to. Now lets see what happens next. she'll be areested,then released on bail pending court proceedings. She'll then plead no contest and get probation,community service ,etc. This women will not do anytime for the crime. (not like us common people who have to do the time for our crimes. She wasn't drunk or on drugs, she didn't flee the scene and these people think they are entitiled to big bucks just because she's rich and made a horrible mistake?
Car accidents happen every day, especially in CA. If you drive a car, you take the risk of being hit ( I know I almost died in an accident ). The family should get what the insurance pays, an apology and Brandy should do some time. Thats what normally happens. Why should she have to pay 50 Million? I wouldn't if I were her.
