63. Wow...its a beautiful song. I have never heard it but Deseree and Beyonce sing it beautifully in there own ways. My question is...where in the heck are these writers for this girl( I mean Beee--ounce')? Why do you have to cover someone elses song...AND without permission??? Respect..Beyonce, say it with me "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" another artist. How would you feel if you were in Deseree's shoes? Not right. And Oh Ya....$150M?????? Fire that damn attorney. 71. For one thing, Tricey, your post sounds elementary. The lawsuit isn't because she covered the song, the lawsuit is because she infringed on Des'ree's copyrights. And, just because your ignorant behind didn't know about R&J and the song "Kissing You" doesn't mean it was dead. Trust and believe she is still getting royalties for that song TODAY! And, I'm not surprised Des'ree doesn't feel "honored," Beyonce wouldn't feel honored if someone violated her copyrights. She'd be all over them like white on rice! I'm not even going to touch on the fact that Beyonce murdered what was once a beautiful song. If the song is dead, it's because Bey stuck a fork in it. And, as far as her status being the "top in the game," she might be the prettiest, she's definitely the most promoted (can you say overexposure), but the best. . . hardly.

72. Tricey you are ignorant a perfect example of the intellectual level of most Beyonce fans. I am yet to meet a highly intelligent person that's head over heels for Beyonce. If you do not understand why Beyonce is being sued then you should not post ignorant re-marks. She is being sued for COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEADS. Dugh everyone knows that most artist out today do remakes and use old beats that's no secret. But Beyonce has disrespected the orginal writters and the law. Now is takes a person with extreme low self-esteem to let someone take what you have created just because they are a fade for the moment. I repeat a fade for the moment. So please read and understand the situation before you say someone is coming down hard on Beyonce. Beyonce brought this on herself no one else. So don't even blame her management. You have got to be a very immature and irresponsible artist to record something and not double check to make sure you are cleared. The point is she knew what was going on so stop blaming other people for what Beyonce is responsible for.

75. Wow...All this commentary about a business woman, a young business woman, who has a gentleman friend who is all about the music business, who has a father who is "also" in the business. She is making money. She and her parents are marketing geniuses. Folk who are in the buisness, whether they are good or not, are paid well because of their marketing strategies. Brittany and Madonna are prime examples of marketing genius. I believe that the woman we see on stage, in the photos, is not the 'real' beyonce. Haven't you guys noticed how truly shy she is? She is an ambitious young woman , who is living her dream and I give her much kudos for that. She had a dream, and with some help, her father, Destiny's Child, and her boyfriend, she has greatly acheived her dream. We all someday have to be accountable, and whatever is done in the dark, ALWAYS, ALWAYS comes to light. Take care, my children.
