Britney Gets a Lighter with Five Finger Discount!

Though she certainly has the ability to buy whatever she wants, for some reason, Britney Spears decided to steal a disposable lighter from a gas station last night -- and brag about it to the cameras!


The popwreck spent most of her day driving the paparazzi around in circles. When she decided to stop at a Van Nuys gas station for some gum, she doubled back for a lighter -- and just snatched it off a display. Gimme dis lighter!

We'd like to say Britney "forgot" to pay for it, but then she turned to the cameras and yelled, "I stole something. Oh, I'm bad. Ohhhhh!"

10. Its official, she has lost her damn mind! She is soooooo screwed! K-Fed's bum case is looking better and better! Brittney will be taken to the cleaners by the time he's done if she keeps up this mess!

And yes, they should press charges but they probably won't or if they do, she'll only get a minor charge which is crap. Guaranteed if it was me or anyone in the regular world, we would get jail time!

13. She totally paid for that lighter! You can clearly see she takes out an additional $2.00 out of her wallet and forgets it and goes back to grap it. She is being completely sarcastic saying she stole it because she knows that the papparazzi will run with it, just like they did!

14. Oh come on people lighten up! She was joking around because of all the pap attention and the way the media portrays her as a monster. The man at the conveinence store I go to every day gives me lighters and candy all the time and doesn't let me pay the small change..when you are a regular customer store owners treat you like that. I am sure none of you have relatives who are in jail right now for stealing a three for a dollar freaking lighter, that is ridiculous!

15. This woman is driving around AGAIN trying to get attention! My God, she stops to buy gum, this woman is addicted to shopping for ANYTHING! And she rips off a lighter, WTF. Yes, Twitney, you ARE bad, and finally admitting it is the first step towards recovery. Of course, we know you love being a trainwreck and are doing everything possible to make sure Kevin gets full custody of your kids so you can be rid of your beautiful babies forever, so no one will really be expecting you to actually get your sorry self together.
